Head of Flys - Dominion Theatre

Nederlander Theatres are looking for an experienced Fly Technician to join the Technical Team at the Dominion Theatre.

The Head of Flys is responsible for operating and maintaining the flying system and grid equipment and will work closely with visiting productions and the rest of the technical team to ensure that all overhead works are completed efficiently and safely.

This role involves working evenings and in addition to their standard hours and as paid overtime, the Head of Flys will be expected to work the occasional Sunday to facilitate additional events.

Due to the technical nature of the role, it is essential that candidates can demonstrate a knowledge of flying and rigging techniques and have experience of using flying systems on a daily basis on a number of different events. The successful candidate will also either have, or be willing to undertake, working at height training and will have working knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Deputy Chief Electrician - Dominion Theatre

Nederlander Theatres are looking for Deputy Chief Electrician to join the Technical Team at the Dominion Theatre. Working closely with the Chief Electrician, the Deputy will assist in the running of the Electrical Department, facilitating the fit up and nightly running of visiting productions and ongoing maintenance of the theatre’s electrical systems.

This role involved working evenings and in addition to their standard hours and as paid overtime, the Deputy Chief Electrician will be expected to work the occasional Sunday to facilitate additional events.

Due to the technical nature of the role, it is essential that candidates are confident operating different lighting equipment, can demonstrate a knowledge of lighting consoles and networking and have experience of undertaking electrical installation work. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the IET Wiring Regulations. It is also desirable that they either have, or be willing to undertake, working at height training and some form of electrical qualification.
