Stephen Schwartz
Music and Lyrics
Stephen is probably best known in the UK for his scores for Wicked and Godspell. Other shows for which he wrote music and lyrics and which have been seen in the UK include: Pippin; The Baker’s Wife; Children of Eden and Working. He co-wrote the English texts with Leonard Bernstein for Bernstein’s Mass. For films, he collaborated with Alan Menken on the songs for Disney’s Enchanted, as well as the animated features Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame and wrote the songs for the DreamWorks animated feature The Prince of Egypt. Awards include: three Academy Awards, four Grammy Awards and the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award. Mr. Schwartz has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Stephen is Artistic Director of the ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshops and serves on the Council of the Dramatists Guild. A book about his career, ‘Defying Gravity’, is published by Applause Books.

Philip has written numerous plays, television episodes and motion picture screenplays in Los Angeles and Europe. His screenwriting credits include: Disney’s Pocahontas and Mulan, and DreamWorks’ The Prince of Egypt and The Legend of El Dorado. For the past several years, Mr. LaZebnik has lived in Denmark, where he has written movies and television shows throughout Europe and the US. His produced movies include: The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar series in Denmark and The Three Investigators and the Secret of Skeleton Island and The Three Investigators and the Secret of Terror Castle for Studio Hamburg, Germany; the Danish film Emma and Santa Claus; the English screenplay for the animated features Asterix and the Vikings and Asterix and the Domain of the Gods. He also wrote the TV mini-series Hindenburg in Germany, the Christmas TV series Ludvig and Santa Claus for TV2 in Denmark, and the book for Fairytale, a theatrical musical about Hans Christian Andersen with songs by Stephen Schwartz.

Scott is an internationally acclaimed director who lives in New York City. He directed the world premiere of The Prince of Egypt in a co-production between TheatreWorks Silicon Valley in the US and Fredericia Teater in Denmark. He directed the US premiere of Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and then subsequently in Germany and Japan. His work in London includes tick, tick… Boom! at the Menier Chocolate Factory, starring Neil Patrick Harris, and Golda’s Balcony at the Shaw Theatre. On Broadway, he directed Golda’s Balcony and co-directed Jane Eyre with John Caird. Off-Broadway work includes: Murder for Two; Bat Boy: The Musical (Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle Awards, ‘Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical’; Drama Desk Award nomination, ‘Outstanding Director of a Musical’); tick, tick…BOOM! Sean’s journey with The Prince of Egypt began at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Fredericia Theater in Denmark and Tuacahn Center for the Arts in Utah. He choreographed the re-imagined West Side Story for NYC’s Carnegie Hall and Daddy Cool The Musical for the West End, earning a WhatsOnStage Award nomination for ‘Best Choreography’. Starting his artistic journey as a figure skater, Sean’s love for dance took over. He studied at the Alvin Ailey School in NYC and landed his first job, at 17, in Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ music video. He choreographed for Vanessa Williams; Janet Jackson; Prince; Tina Turner; Whitney Houston; Queen Latifah and Britney Spears. Sean choreographed and acted in Whitney Houston's film The Bodyguard. He won 2 MTV Music Video Awards and choreographs for So You Think You Can Dance in the US, Canada and the UK, and was a presenter and judge on the UK show Dirty Dancing: Time of Your Life. Sean is Creative Director for the world’s most celebrated and prestigious Ice Show, Art On Ice. Being part of the outstanding The Prince of Egypt creative team is a dream come true.

Kevin has been designing stage, film and exhibitions from his home base of Chicago for the past fifteen years. His Chicago theatre credits include productions at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; Steppenwolf Theatre Company; Goodman Theatre; Court Theatre; Writers Theatre; Drury Lane Oakbrook and Chicago Children’s Theatre. He was the associate designer for the Broadway productions of Of Mice and Men; August: Osage County and The Motherf**ker with the Hat. His many regional credits include productions at American Players Theatre; McCarter Theatre; Denver Center Theatre; Mark Taper Forum; Arden Theatre; Milwaukee Repertory Theater; Yale Repertory Theatre; The Public Theater; Brooklyn Academy of Music and Glimmerglass Opera. Kevin is currently designing the North American Tour of The Kings Speech and several touring exhibitions including The Hunger Games: The Exhibition and Jurassic World: The Exhibition.

Costume designer
Ann Hould-Ward has won, or been nominated for, virtually every major theatre award in existence, including the Tony, Drama Desk, Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, American Theatre Wing, Outer Critics Circle and Olivier awards for her costume design. A Tony winner for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Tony nominee for the original Broadway productions of Into the Woods and Sunday in the Park with George, Ms. Hould-Ward’s stage credits also include countless Off-Broadway productions and designs for the most highly regarded regional theatres and the theatre-world’s finest producers and directors. International audiences applaud her work as well, as do audiences for film, television, concerts, dance and opera. Ms. Hould-Ward’s work has been seen in over 35 international companies of Beauty and the Beast, and her other designs are featured in shows all over the world. She also has more than 100 regional theatre credits. Ms. Hould-Ward is the recipient of the inaugural Patricia Zipprodt Award for ‘Innovative Costume Design’ and is a seasoned lecturer.

Mike is a New York City-based lighting and scenic designer and is excited to be making his West End debut. He designed the lighting for the world premiere of The Prince of Egypt at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley in California, and at Fredericia Teater in Denmark. Across the United States, Mike has most notably designed at the Bay Street Theater Laguna Playhouse; Rubicon Theatre Company (three-time LA Ovation Award nominee); TheatreWorks Silicon Valley; American Theater for Actors in NYC; Guild Hall; Quintessence Theatre Company; Abingdon Theatre; Connecticut Repertory Theatre and Dorset Theatre Festival. He has also designed the lighting for themed attractions at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Choreographer credits include: Make it Pop (Nickelodeon); Full Out (Netflix), and music videos for Kelly Clarkson and The Weeknd. Dancer film credits include: Disney's Descendants franchise; Step Up: All In and Suicide Squad. She is a producer for the renowned urban dance company The Kinjaz and most recently wrapped producing and creative directing the feature film Full Out 2, which will premiere worldwide on Netflix in March 2020.

Simon became a technical director/production manager having previously worked as a Stage Manager for English National Opera and Scottish Opera. For twenty years he was co-owner of Crosbie Marlow Associates. He now runs MPM Ltd, which is an international company specialising in large scale musicals and West End plays. He has been privileged to technically supervise numerous international productions of shows such as Mamma Mia! and The Phantom of The Opera. Outside of West End theatre, he has technically managed many other projects including Kate Bush’s season at the Hammersmith Apollo (2014) and as consultant for Troubadours new theatres at White City and Wembley. Recent productions include: Bat Out of Hell (Canada, Germany, London) and the new musical & Juliet.

He was also the original Marketing Director of Mamma Mia!.
