Queen of British Soul, Beverley Knight, has been one of the UK's most consistent artists for two decades, scoring several Top 10 albums, including the platinum-selling Voice: The Best Of Beverley Knight. She has sold over a million albums in the UK along the way, including four gold certified albums. Her most recent studio album Soulsville was released in June 2016 and went straight into the UK Top 10. November 2019 saw Beverley celebrate 25 years in music with the release of a live album BK25: Beverley Knight with The Leo Green Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall. The album brings to life all of Beverley’s hits recorded with a live orchestra, as well as three new studio tracks | She was awarded an MBE by the Queen in 2007 for services to British music and charity, has won three MOBO Awards, and been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards three times and for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize | In recent years, Wolverhampton born Knight has forged a formidable parallel career in theatre. Her highly acclaimed West End debut was in the starring role as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard in 2013. In 2014 she received an Olivier Award Nomination as Best Actress in a Musical for her much praised role, of Felicia Farrell in the Tony winning hit show Memphis The Musical. The production won Best New Musical at the 2015 Whats On Stage Awards and received more Olivier nominations than any other West End show in 2015. In October 2015 at the request of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber she joined the cast of Cats, playing the iconic role of Grizabella for an 11 week run at The London Palladium. In 2017 she reprised the lead role in The Bodyguard in another successful run of the production in both London and Toronto. In September 2018 Beverley starred in a new show, Sylvia, at London’s iconic Old Vic Theatre, in which she played the role of Emmeline Pankhurst to huge acclaim. (Knight is reprising this role at the Old Vic currently, until 22nd April this year.) 2020/2021 saw Beverley lead The Drifters Girl at the Garrick Theatre as Faye Treadwell, manager of soul group The Drifters. For her performance, Beverley earned her second Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical, while the production was nominated for Best New Musical. 2022 saw Beverley perform as Delores Van Cartier in Jamie Wilson’s production of Sister Act, performing to sell out crowds at The Hammersmith Apollo | Her outstanding live performances have gained her a legion of famous fans over the years, from David Bowie to Prince, Stevie Wonder to Quincy Jones. She has collaborated on stage and on record with the likes of Prince, Jamiroquai, Bryan Adams, Ronnie Wood, Carlos Santana, Andrea Bocelli, Jools Holland, Jamie Cullum, Joss Stone, Take That and Chaka Khan | Knight has toured the UK several times in her own right and has sold out London’s Royal Albert Hall on three occasions, debuting there in 2007. The album went Top 10 and was certified silver a few weeks after its release | Beverley recently appeared in the all star cast of Amazon's new live action movie version of Cinderella (2021), with Camila Cabello in the title role. Ruth is delighted to be returning to the stage after several years away! She was last seen playing Maggie in Theatre Royal Bath’s touring production of The Nightingales by William Gaminara | Her previous theatre credits include Under Milk Wood at the National, A Winter’s Tale for the RSC, Roots for Oxford Stage Company and Educating Rita at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff. Ruth is perhaps best known for her role as Nessa Jenkins in the multi award winning Gavin and Stacey for the BBC, which she also co-created and co-wrote with James Corden. Ruth also created and co-wrote Sky 1’s Stella, which ran for six series in which she played the eponymous Stella. Ruth’s other tv credits include Nighty Night, Little Britain, Saxondale, The Great Outdoors, Tess of the D’Urbervilles and Little Dorrit | Films include: Nativity IV, Eat Locals, East is East and Hattie. In recent years, Ruth has become a Sunday Times best-selling author of three novels, Never Greener, Us Three and Love Untold. She is currently writing her fourth. Lesley is best known for playing Dorien Green, the neighbour from hell, in the sitcom Birds of a Feather, alongside Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson. Having recorded over 130 episodes, Dorien Green became a national institution, watched at its height by 23 million people | In 2018, Lesley starred as Frau Blücher in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein at the Garrick Theatre. A performance which earned Lesley an Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. After this, Lesley toured the country in Annie the Musical, reprising her role as Miss Hannigan and also Calendar Girls the Musical | She has a wealth of theatrical experience to her credit, in virtually all aspects of the business, having trained at LAMDA before carving out a career for herself on stage. Her roles in theatre have been varied from appearing in the Sir Peter Hall’s production of Home, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Piaf by Pam Gems, Frosine in The Miser with Ian Richardson, Dooniasha in The Cherry Orchard, to Hortense in The Boyfriend amongst others. She played Mrs Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie. She toured with Edward Hardwicke in Office Suite by Alan Bennett, and produced and starred in Singular Women, a one-woman show written by Stewart Permutt, at The Kings Head. It was in Exclusive Yarns written by Gary Lyons and Stewart Permutt, at the Comedy Theatre that Lesley was seen by Laurence Marks, which led to Birds of a Feather | To families in every corner of Britain, Lesley Joseph is also well known for her work in pantomimes. She toured with John Nettles for eight years in Dick Whittington, and it was at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton that Michael Aspel presented her with the big red book for This Is Your Life | On television, she starred in the ITV soap Night and Day for nearly two years. Other TV appearances include Rumble with Brian Glover, Easy Money, Spywatch, Minder, Roots, The Knowledge and many others. She played Green Beryl in the Channel 5 series, The Secret of Eel Island and guest-starred as Erica in the BBC’s The Slammer | Lesley has appeared in scores of light entertainment shows; she had a regular spot on GMTV for three years as well as presenting on Wish You Were Here. Lesley has also hosted a highly successful weekly talk show on BBC London and was honoured to have a rose named after her at the Chelsea Flower Show | Lesley also donned her dancing shoes as one of the contestants in 2016 Strictly Come Dancing with dance partner Anton du Beke.
