Access into the Adelphi Theatre:
The main entrance has one 25cm step, except on the right hand side as you face the theatre, where a ramp is available. The main foyer is accessed via double swing doors, with automatic doors by the ramp. The Box Office counter is to your right inside the entrance, with the first window wheelchair accessible. There are no steps to the Stalls from foyer. There are 41 steps up to the Dress Circle and 79 steps up to the Upper Circle. Most staircases are highlighted and have handrails on both sides. The theatre will open 45 minutes before the performance.

Please contact the door staff on arrival. No steps to Stalls from foyer. Two spaces for wheelchair users at the back – view slightly restricted. Transfer seating available to any stalls aisle seat. A maximum of four wheelchairs can be stored in the cloakroom. Provisions for four wheelchair/scooter transferees per performance – please check when booking.
There is an adapted toilet by the entrance to the Stalls.
The main toilets for the stalls are located in the basement level (17 steps from the main foyer).  There are further gents toilets (level access) and ladies toilets (2 steps up) inside the Stalls Auditorium. There are ladies and gents toilets located in the Dress Circle Foyer.
Access to toilets in the Upper Circle involves a number of steps.

A7-9, A28-30, BB10, 11, 25, 26, and C31 in the Stalls have the most legroom.
Infra-red system with headsets. A limited number of headsets are available for collection from the Cloakroom. Induction loop at Box Office. Please be advised that there is NO COVERAGE in: Stalls – from Row R to rear, Dress Circle from Row J to rear and Upper Circle from Row F to rear.

assistance dogs
Access dogs are allowed inside the auditorium. Staff can also dog-sit for up to four dogs per performance in the Manager’s office.

Drinks may be brought to disabled customers in the auditorium. The Jessie Matthews bar is down 20 steps from the foyer however the bar in the main foyer is accessible without steps.  The Vivien Ellis bar also has level access from stalls. Dress Circle bar up 30 steps. Upper Circle

The Dress Circle bar is up 30 steps and the Upper Circle bar is up 63 steps. There is limited seating in the bar areas.
