COVID-19 Safety Information

We are fully committed to the safety of our audience, performers, staff and everyone who works at or visits our theatres. 

To help us welcome audiences back safely, we are taking care to meet all of the Government’s latest coronavirus and social distancing guidelines and have put in place a number of COVID-19 secure measures.  These will continue to be reviewed and updated regularly.

Dominion Theatre Safety Measures

Please read the following guidelines carefully and we would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. A reminder of these measures along with any recent changes will be sent with your pre-show email the day before your booked performance.

Face Masks / Coverings  You will be expected to wear your face mask / covering throughout your time at the theatre except while eating or drinking.

Distanced Seating  We have reduced our capacity to allow 1m+ between seated groups and sufficient space to minimise contact with others while navigating the front of house areas. Tickets are available in different sized group ‘bubbles’ which allow suitable space between different groups. It is not possible to purchase individual seats or reduce the number of tickets within these designated bubbles.  Everyone sitting within a designated bubble should be from one household or support bubble.

Temperature Checking  We will carry out temperature checks upon arrival. If your temperature is 37.8C or above it will not be possible to admit you and your group to the theatre.

Free Exchange or Refund Policy  If you hold tickets to a performance with us but feel unwell or are required to self-isolate, please contact us at least 24 hours before the event and we will  exchange your tickets to another date.

Timed Arrival  To help ease congestion, your ticket will specify when we expect you to arrive. Our staff will be on hand to help manage a socially distanced queue if required outside the venue.

Security Check  We will be operating a contactless bag check. We will not be able to offer a cloakroom service at this time so please do not bring any items that cannot fit comfortably underneath your seat.

Contactless Ticketing  All tickets will now be e-tickets that can be printed at home or displayed on your phone. These will be registered using contactless scanners upon arrival.

In-Your-Seat Service  We will be offering an in your seat drinks and snacks service so please take your seat and let us take care of you. Alternatively, drinks can be pre-ordered via our online menus which will be sent via txt within 48 hours of the performance. This easy service which requires no registration will be connected to the information provided when you booked your tickets, so please remember to include a contact number when you book.

Cashless Payment  Contactless payment will be available when purchasing refreshments or merchandise. We will not be accepting cash at this time.

Social Distancing  Enhanced signage, one-way systems and our helpful front of house team will be in place around the venue to maintain safe social distancing throughout.

Sanitiser Stations  Hand sanitising units will be available upon arrival and throughout the theatre.

Cleaning  The theatre will be disinfected regularly and cleaned before every show.

Air Circulation  We will maximise the amount of fresh air circulating around the venue during every performance. Please be aware that in winter this may lower the temperature slightly or create draughts in the auditorium.

Singing Along  We kindly ask all patrons to refrain from singing along or loudly cheering at any time during the performance.
